BigPlanDJ started the way many great ideas do: out of frustration. Our founding team ran a successful multi-DJ entertainment company and spent countless hours juggling spreadsheets, chasing contract signatures via email, manually sending invoices, and trying to coordinate team schedules across disconnected tools.
We looked for a solution built for the DJ industry and found nothing that truly fit. Generic CRMs were too complex. Event-planning tools lacked DJ-specific features. Payment platforms did not integrate with booking workflows. So we decided to build exactly what we needed.
